CE IVD 試劑盒的臨床應用
這款體外診斷試劑盒旨在檢測人類基因組DNA中APOE基因的rs429358和rs7412突變。以確定e2（cys112，cys158），e3（cys112，arg158）和e4（arg112，arg158）基因型。試劑使用帶有螢光標記探針的real-time PCR進行檢測（等位基因識別）。
APOE是運輸膽固醇顆粒（VLDL，HDL）的重要結構組成部分，是主要存在於大腦和肝臟的細胞接受器的配體。APOE基因有三種等位基因形式，e2，e3和e4，分別編碼蛋白質異構體E2，E3和E4。這些異構體在第112和158位氨基酸處具有特徵性。

gb GENETIC APOE Clinical implications of the CE IVD kit
Detection method: allelic discrimination
This in vitro diagnostic kit is intended for detection of mutations rs429358 and rs7412 in the gene for APOE in human genomic DNA. It enables determination of e2 (cys112, cys158), e3 (cys112, arg158) and e4 (arg112, arg158) genotypes. Examination process is based on a principle of real-time PCR with the use of fluorescently labelled probes (allelic discrimination).
Apolipoprotein E is an important structural component of particles transporting cholesterol (VLDL, HDL) and is a ligand of cell receptors found mainly in the brain and the liver. The apolipoprotein E gene occurs in three forms of alleles, e2, e3 and e4, which code for protein isoforms E2, E3 and E4 respectively. These isoforms characteristically have amino-acids at positions 112 and 158.
